Kamilah is a Registered Physiotherapist in Toronto. She has experience working in various orthopaedic and geriatric settings. Kamilah has upgraded her knowledge with skills such as Kinesiology Taping, Kinetic Control, Mulligan and Acupuncture.
She believes in using a customized combination of hands-on methods, exercise therapy and electrotherapy to best suit the clinical conditions. She strongly believes in treating the patient holistically by utilizing different therapeutic measures and liaison of different professionals in order to help the patient in the best possible way. She enjoys working with all age groups and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
Kamilah is trained in Rehab Reformer Pilates which uses the Pilates Reformer as a tool for rehabilitation, helping individuals recover safely and effectively from injuries. These exercises are designed to improve mobility, restore strength, and enhance stability while minimizing strain on the body. By using controlled, low-impact movements, this method supports recovery from conditions such as sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility limitations.
In her free time, she enjoys taking dance lessons, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
