Tayla is a trained Osteopath who completed her double Bachelor of Osteopathy in Melbourne, Australia, has training in clinical Pilates, as well as myofascial dry needling. She has many years of experience working with dancers and athletes, helping them to optimize their craft and get back to their passions post injury. Tayla has a specific interest in working with hypermobile populations, helping them to understand their pain, improve quality of life, and working with them to prevent injuries in their chosen sport.
Getting to know clients is an important part of Tayla’s holistic approach, under the notion that a person’s health extends far beyond the treatment room. Through her years as a dancer and experiencing personal injuries, she is inspired by human movement and promoting health. Her management style encompasses hands-on techniques including massage, mobilization, joint manipulation, dry needling, and taping, and rehabilitation advice targeted to an individual’s needs, as well as empowering clients to take an active role in their wellbeing.
Outside the clinic you’ll find Tayla captivated by a book or out exploring what Toronto has to offer.
