Ronald J. Klein graduated as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, in Chicago, in 1980. His one year post graduate externship involved treating and managing foot and ankle ailments in athletes of all different levels of participation. He has been treating patients in the Toronto area for over 30 years. He served as podiatrist at Etobicoke General Hospital.
Ronald’s passion in practice is also seen in his lectures to local sports and professional groups. He also volunteers his time to numerous local charities, including having walked the 60 km Walk to End Breast Cancer, as well as also helping in the medical tent.
Currently besides being on staff at SEMI, he is the podiatry peer review inspector on behalf of the Ministry of Health. Ronald goes out to podiatry offices throughout the province, ensuring practices are maintained to provincial standards. He is also a member of the Ontario Podiatric Medical Association.
When not spending time with his family and three children, Ronald enjoys alpine skiing, games of squash and the frustration of his new passion, golf.
