Dr. Jennifer Gordon has an Honours Kinesiology degree from the University of Western Ontario, and an MHSc in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Sydney. After obtaining her medical degree at Trinity College Dublin, she then went on to complete her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto.
She is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Canada, as well as the Ontario Medical Association, Canadian Pain Society, and Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has completed specialized training in ultrasound-guided injections by the Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society. She is also currently completing certification in Functional Medicine, which seeks to identify the root cause of disease and treat the whole person.
Dr. Gordon has a specific interest in musculoskeletal medicine ranging from acute to chronic pain as well as sports injuries, which stems from her background as a competitive synchronized swimmer and rehabbing her own injuries. She enjoys working with the interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve optimal health.
